Christmas for kids
Christmas for Kids 2008 is scheduled for December 6, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Children 4 yr. through 6th grade will review the true meaning of Christmas on the basis of Scripture, enjoy crafts, singing, snacks and lunch. Many parents enjoy dropping their children off while they get some Christmas shopping done. There is no charge for this program. Join us in praying for good weather this year!
Our 2007 Christmas for Kids had to be cancelled due to an ice storm. We will plan on having Christmas for Kids the first Saturday in December, 2008.
On December 2, 2006, forty-one children came to our Christmas For Kids Bible School. We had a great time learning about the visit of the Wise Men and how Mary and Joseph and the Wise Men offered themselves as living sacrifices to God because they knew that Jesus was born to be their Savior. We also enjoyed snacks, lunch, crafts and singing. All these things helped us prepare to celebrate Christmas as the birthday of our Savior.
