We, the redeemed children of God joined together as Holy Cross Lutheran Congregation, exist to make disciples for our Lord Jesus Christ in our homes, congregation, community and throughout the world.

1.  In our homes we encourage people to minister to children, youth and adults so that each person might continually grow in understanding of what it means to be a Christian.

2.  In our congregation we provide opportunities for emotional, spiritual, and intellectual growth for people of all ages through the Word and Sacraments in worship, education, fellowship, evangelism, and ministering to the special needs of individual members.

3.  In our community we share and demonstrate Christ’s love as individuals by bringing healing where there is hurt and forgiveness where there is anger and applying the Spirit of Christ to the wounds of society.

4.  In the world we work with the fellow churches of th Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod in training pastors, teachers and missionaries and by supporting the Synod’s mission programs through our time, talents, money, and prayers.  As part of the universal Body of Christ, we support the mission outreach of all Christians throughout the entire world.

Finally, we wish to praise the Lord for all He has done and to pray for His guidance and strength in carrying out His will.
