We Believe:

The 66 books of the Bible (Old and New Testament) are the inspired Word

Saving faith in Jesus Christ as the only Savior of the world is a gift

Faith in Jesus Christ is the heart and center of the Bible, the "key" to

God has revealed Himself to us as The Holy Trinity: one God revealed in
three distinct Persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

God created the world in a literal 6-day creation. Genesis 1-2; Exodus
20:11; Exodus 31:17

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of the virgin Mary by the

Jesus Christ atoned for all sin through his suffering and death. 1 Corinthians

"Justification by grace, for Christ's sake, through faith" is the chief
teaching (Acts 4:12); it distinguishes the truth of God's Word from all
who teach "salvation by works" (Galatians 5:4-5); it gives great comfort
to penitent sinners (Acts 16:30-34).

Jesus gives to us His true body and true blood in the Sacrament of the

God, the Holy Spirit, brings people to the saving faith through the water

The Holy Spirit bestows spiritual gifts according to His will and for the

The saved receive eternal life in heaven and those who reject Christ receive

Each Christian is called to present a Christian witness to the world in
words and actions. Matthew 5:13-16; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 2:9-10; 1 Peter 3:15

We believe, teach and confess the Lutheran Confessions contained in the
Book of Concord of 1580, because they are in full agreement with the Holy
Scriptures.
