TLCare now has lodging to offer to LCMS brothers and sisters at no cost. The small apartment is located on the edge of the Mayo campus and is available first come, first served. Generation Y consists of those born between approximately 1980 and the present. Members of Generation X are also known as “Baby Busters” and Generation Y as “Millennials.”</div> <div> Re member outreach to Generation X and Y in the United States as you pray: </div> <div> · for LCMS World Mission and other leaders as they seek to lead the LCMS in how to intentionally touch and share the Gospel with Generations X and Y. </div> <div> · for Generation X, which includes people who are between 31 and 50 years of age—nearly 70 million people in the United States. Pray that despite the pressures of succeeding at work, caring for a family, and involvement in their communities, they would hear God’s truth through the people He places in their lives.</div> <div> · for Generation Y, or Millennials, who are 30 years and younger. They are the largest generation in the United States at about 100 million people. Pray that God would use their desire to make a difference in the world as a force for good in building Christ’s kingdom.</div> <div> · for LCMS congregations—that God would give them open eyes and hearts as they consider how to include and involve younger members and prospective members in the life and leadership of the church in a meaningful way.</div> <div> · for Lutheran adults that belong to Generation X—that the Holy Spirit would guard their hearts and strengthen their faith despite the many challenges and obstacles that would discourage and distract them.
