Lee Johnson, Pastor. Lee grew up in Lincoln, graduating from Lincoln High School and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln . From 1978-1984, Lee taught English and journalism at Lincoln High. For the past 23 years, he has been a pastor of United Methodist churches in the Kansas City area. Lee returned to Nebraska in July of 2007 to become the pastor of the Seward United Methodist Church . He is a graduate of Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City . |

Cindy Mavis, Office Administrator. Cindy began her ministry at the Seward Church in the summer of 2007. Previously, she has taught music education in various public school settings throughout Kansas and Nebraska . An accomplished pianist, from time to time, Cindy accompanies Saturday evening and Sunday worship. Cindy was born and raised in Seward. |

Jim Lee, Director of Music Ministries. Jim has served as the Seward United Methodist Church Director of Music Ministries since 1999. He grew up in Norfolk and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he majored in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, he works at Tenneco Inc. in Seward. Jim helps plan and coordinate music for the church year. He also serves as a major resource for the audio visual ministry of the church. |
