Siren Testing The E911 Communications Center will conduct siren testing for the tornado sirens on the 1st Monday of every month unless that day falls on a holiday. If that happens, the siren testing will be done on the first Tuesday of each month. This is done to ensure that our tornado sirens are working in the event of an actual tornado. During the testing, the sirens will only sound for a 30-45 second period, they will not go the full three minutes as they do for an actual tornado.
